Late last year, I stumbled across this brand, The Local Branch mentioned in an article I was reading. I took a look at their website and fell in love with their jewelry. I ordered the quartz necklace, which made it’s way to me in a little calico bag, posted from somewhere on their travels.
Early this year I was attending a trade fair in Vegas, sitting in on a seminar with a panel of industry experts talking about sustainable and ethical manufacturing. I realized one of them was Blaine, the co-creator of this wonderful brand, so like a wide eyed groupie I went up and said hi at the end of the seminar. A really sweet guy!
